Developing social content for Optus was a uniquely rewarding experience as the brand's customers are rarely complimentary and are extraordinarily (and creatively) critical, taking any opportunity to insult the brand via social media. This meant that not only was it a win to get likes, shares, tweets etc, it was also considered a win to get as little negative comments as possible. This was a challenge I accepted whole heartedly.
My challenge was to brainstorm and develop concepts which were on brand, positive, unique and entertaining, some of which are below.
